This 4 day package "all around the Takhini River Valley is made for the wilderness lovers!

 

Visit Frank Turner's kennel, Yukon Quest's veteran, be ready for a full day dog sledding under the guide's expert eye. He goes with you for an unforgettable day on Jack London's path. Have a soak in a naturally hot water pool in the middle of Yukon's winter. You may by lucky to see the Northern lights if you don't sink into a deep sleep taking away by the silence of the backcountry. Get a tour of the Wildlife Preserve and meet the Northern animals.

Day 1 : Transfer to the Lodge from Whitehorse and the airport, welcome cocktail.

Day 2 : After breakfast. Meet the sled dogs and go for a fully day dog mushing. this day trip takes you through the spectacular scenery along the Takhini River and the Yukon Quest Trail. You have the opportunity to drive a dog team. Winter clothing for this activitiy is privided. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 3 (afternoon) : The Wildlife Preserve provides you with a great opportunity to see and photograph wildlife in its natural habitat: Dall Sheep, Bighorn Sheep, Mountain Goats, Deer, Elk, Wood Bison, Musk-Ox, Moose ...

Then you go to Takhini Hotsprings. Relax in the hot water pool and enjoy the winter landscapes. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge

Day 4 : After breakfast. It's already time to leave you back to the city or the airport.
