Each day a different adventure!

Snowmobiling, dog sledding, snowshoeing, and ice fishing on frozen lake. Each day a winter adventure, each day a different discovery.

motoneigelabergeDay 1 : Transfer from whitehorse airport to Takhini River Lodge. Welcome drink.

Day 2 : After breakfast go with your guide on a ride with your own snowmobile and explore the untouched winter nature. Enjoy a full day on the deep snow covered Old Dawson or Livingstone Trail into areas inacessible in the summer time. This tour is suitable for every body who enjoys to explore the Yukon riding on a snowmobile trough snow covered forests and frozen rivers. Special physical abilities or previous knowledge about handling the skidoo are not necessary. Your guide will give and expert introdsuction an ddemonstration covering the operation details you need to know. Lunch is on the trail.

Day 3 : After breakfast you leave for a day ride with a dog sled on the frozen river Takhini (warm clothing specific to this activity are provided). If unable to take the river the ride will be on trails to breathtaking landscapes. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 4 : Learn to walk on snowshoes. It looks easy but can be quite challenging and a real workout. Practice how to use them and while you're hiking through the bush learn to interpret the many signs of nature around you.

Day 5 : Ice fishing with Nature Tours of Yukon. Drill a holl in the ice, drop a line and try your luck. A warm drink and great camaraderie amidst a crisp northern afternoon makes this an unforgettable experience.

Day 6 : After breakfast. It's already time to leave you back to the city or the airport.

Package Price: 1,790 CAD + taxes / person based on double occupancy in a room (add $ 400 for a single occupancy room)

The sequence of activities could be changed, activities may be canceled depending on weather conditions.
